Typographic Exploration: Aphorism

Typographic poster design for an aphorism.

The aphorism I use posters to explain is "Seeing is not always believing". I give it a different feel by using different technique in every poster

Using only black and white to interpret, the photocopier is used to express the distortion and unreality of what the eyes see.

Huge eyeballs mean people are hungry for the truth.

The truth is often obscured by an invisible hand.

Plastic film and ink are used to create a sense of fog, and the truth is hidden in the layers of fog.

Using watercolor strokes to create the feeling of fonts dissolving into each other, creating a new visual effect.

Try to combine color and line to find more possibilities.

Circles and sharp patterns are combined in fluorescent colors to convey the meaning of warning.

Sans serif fonts can communicate in an original way.

In addition to exploring the meaning of a phrase itself, the letters themselves can become interesting.
